Junior stars sing the sounds of Christmas

As Santa prepares himself to make his journey into town, Junior Star Singer artists made their way into London to record the 2017 Christmas track, The Sounds of Christmas.  The lyrics have been written by creator and founder of JSS Amanda Neale.

The track identifies the sounds that we tend to hear at this wonderful time of the year and how they can affect us if we are not with our loved ones.  Artists from up and down the UK joined together to make this amazing opportunity happen for them which was to see the track being created by Laurence Hobbs who has worked with the likes of Xfactor, Britains Got Talent and The Voice artists and to record a group track with a high profile producer.

It was full speed ahead for all the artists as they were separated into three different groups so that they could tackle harmonies and their own pieces for the song.  They were mentored by Georgia Lois, Junior Judge for JSS UK 2017, Rachael Summers, co-presenter and Amanda Neale founder and main presenter.

With warm ups, intense learning of melodies, training on their vocals and discussions on improvisation, the contestants all enjoyed a fun packed afternoon.  The track 'The Sounds of Christmas' can now be heard on the JSS website as well as You tube and reveals the winning names for 2017 for the tour competition. So look out for them now!

Contestants from this year's and previous Junior Star Singer Songwriter contests came together in London recently to record our Christmas song 'The Sounds of Christmas'.
