Kasey-Wray Wooderson

 

Kasey- Wray is the recent winner of Junior Star Singer who snapped up the amazing chance for her song to be heard on 20 radio stations this year.  With an amazing, mature urban, soul pop voice, she wowed the judges in 2016 and won the category for best vocalist.  Since then she has sung at the RYMA (Regional Youth Music Awards), and appeared as a guest for BBC radio giving interviews and playing her own songs.

 

Kasey-Wray is a young singer from Sheffield who always dreamed  of fulfilling her life's ambition of being a singer songwriter.  Winning Junior Star Singer has given her the opportunity to be heard and recognised for her talents.  

 

She has recorded with producers who have worked with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Emilie Sande and Olly Murs, developing a new urban, soul pop sound.  She has been compared to the likes of Louisa Johnson and Rita Ora.  Now being mentored by mentor Amanda Neale she has written her own tracks and is due to have her website out this year.  Look out for Kasey-Wray Wooderson as she will take the world by storm!
