JSS artists rock the Cavern Club

Recognised as a world-famous music venue, The Cavern Club in Liverpool has played host to some of the biggest names in music.

Junior Star Singer artists arrived in Liverpool City on Friday 11th August for a full day of heavy rehearsing and gigging.  Artists were booked into the legendary Cavern Club where the likes of The Beatles, Oasis, Adele, Arctic Monkeys, Cold Play, Jessie J and many many more have already performed.  Special guests to appear were Junior Star Singer co-presenter Rachael Summers, Teide Bryce, Georgia Lois and new emerging act Riversuns.

The Cavern Club at 10 Matthew Street, in Liverpool was the venue where the Beatles (formerly known as the Quarrymen) started their rise to fame.  John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Pete Best were first seen by Brian Epstein at the club.

Since then, huge headlining acts have used the venue as a warm up venue before doing stadiums and arenas.  It is decked out with amazing memorabilia from The Beatles, as well as photographs of live artists who have performed over recent years.

Our JSS artists had a two-hour lunchtime slot on the same stage that legend Paul Mc Cartney himself performed on back in the nineties at the Cavern club.  What an electric stage!  Check out some of the clips here.  Look out for our artists again later on this year, as they tour on the Junior Star Singer Radio Tour.

Take a look at some of the action too as some of our artists got together at Elevator Studios in Liverpool for a heavy jam session after the show.  It's non-stop for these hard working artists on tour!  They were jamming to classic covers and some of their own too..........check this out with artists Teide Bryce, Georgia Lois, Kasey Wray and new emerging artists Riversuns!
